Barbara A. (McGeary) Damiano

Barbara A. Damiano, 83, Bellwood, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at home. Born April 17, 1940, Altoona, daughter of the late Cora (Williamson) Greene and Ira McGeary. She married Ronald B. Damiano in 1958, he preceded her in death in 2000 after 42 years of marriage. Survived by her daughters, Brenda Damiano, Philadelphia; and Bonnie (David) Hennaman, Duncansville; son, William (Grace) Damiano, Bellwood; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, William Green, Bellwood; sister, Carolyn, Davis, WV; and daughter-in-law, Dee Bickel. Preceded in death by son, Joseph Damiano; sisters, Darlene O’Quinn, Bonnie Karlson, Madeline White, and Janet Miner; and brothers, Marlin Greene, Charles Shade, Larry Greene and David Greene. Barb worked as a nurses aide. She enjoyed her pets and reality television shows. Friends and family will be received Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Good’s Funeral Parlor, 328 5th Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11 a.m., Pastor Timothy Bartholomew, officiant.
