Charlotte Stoltz

Mrs. Charlotte Joan Stoltz, 86, of Tyrone, Pa. formerly of 2725 Oak St. Alttoona, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Epworth Manor Assisted Living, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Stoltz was born in Altoona, Pa. on January 17, 1928, daughter of the late Edward L. and . Mary Amelia (Lantzy) Plummer. She married John "Jack" Martin Stoltz November 27, 1947 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, He died July 15, 2014.

She was a homemaker.

Charlotte was a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Altoona, Pa.

She enjoyed playing cards, the lottery, bingo,cooking and was an avid Pirates and Steeler fan. She especially loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the William Penn Association and was a volunteer for Blair Senior Services.

She is survived by 4 children Deborah A. (husband Kenneth) Klinger, Paula M. (husband Lawrence) VanSickel, Ronald P. Stoltz all of Altoona, Pa. and Denise M. (husband Timothy) Muir, of Atlantic Beach, FL, and a daughter-in-law Carol Stoltz of West Palm Beach, FL. She is aso survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Michael T. Stoltz and a sister Regina Middaugh.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Alttona,Pa. at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 with Fr. D. Timothy Grimme officiating.

Committal Rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Monday, December 8, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil For the Deceased will be held at 5:30 PM.
