Constance Glunt

Mrs. Constance D. (Andros) Glunt, 86, of Altoona, Pa died at 7:10 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Glunt was born in Altoona, Pa on April 23, 1932, daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Basaites) Andros. She was previously married to Theodore L. Glunt Sr.

Connie retired in 1994 as a Sewing Machine Operator at Warnaco Knitwear Division, Altoona with 20 years of service.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Altoona, Pa.

Connie was a 1951 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, cooking and baking Greek food, was an avid mystery reader. She was a lifelong donor and supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter and 2 sons Rebecca A. Pfister and Theodore L. (Ted) Glunt Jr. both of Altoona, Pa; and Terry L. (Lori) Glunt, of Hollidaysburg, Pa; 2 granddaughters Jennifer Pfister, of Los Angeles, CA; and Katie (Dan) Dengate, of Altoona, Pa; 2 step grandsons Ryan Baker and Brendan Baker; 2 sister and a bother Anna Brunnhuber, Marie Emes and Thomas Andros all of Altoona, Pa. Connie was preceded in death by 10 brother and sister James, George, Christ, Paul, John, Alex, Nick, Charles and Marian Andros, Georgette Leewar and a son-in-law Pat Pfister.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Altoona, Pa at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 21, 2019 with Fr. Isaac Danevicius celebrant.

An Interment Service will be held at Alto Rest Park Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home where a Trisagion Service will be celebrated at 4:45 PM.
