David Smith

Mr. David Lee Smith, age 57, of Cresson, PA passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Cresson, PA.

Mr. Smith was born in Altoona, PA on August 29, 1958, son of the late Coy Richard and Helen (McMullen) Smith.

He was a school bus driver at Wilkinson Bus Company with eight years' of service. He previously worked for Fullington and Lindsey Bus Companies, was manager at Terminix Extermination Company and Frito - Lay.

David was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He enjoyed being with his family, old cars, coin collecting, computer games and reading.

He is survived by four children, Sheryl L. Smith of Altoona, PA; Sharon A. (Stephanie Drenning, fiance) Smith of Altoona, PA; David L. (Alycia) Smith ll of Marysville, OH; and Alex J. Smith of Altoona, PA; fiance Michelle M. Eger of Cresson, PA; granddaughter Taylor Berardi; a sister Anne M. Smith, of Albany, Oregon. David is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and his dog Shadow. He was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Longstreth and a brother Coy R. Smith.

There will be no services.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.
