Debbie Hampton

Debbie L. Croft (Lear) Hampton 58, of Altoona, passed away at 10:20 AM, Monday, July 15, 2019 at her residence, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Debbie was born in Altoona, Pa on May 1, 1961, daughter of the late Oscar Landis and Iona Gertrude (Lingenfelter) Croft. She was  the common-law wife of Gordon S. Hampton.

She was a Homemaker.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church Altoona, Pa.

Debbie was a 1980 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed dancing, walking, swimming and collecting Flinstones and tweety birds.

She is survived by her husband and 4 children Juliet R. Hampton, " Special friend Jason B." Lorena J. (fiancee Jason Runk) Hampton and Gordon S. Hampton II, all of Altoona, Pa; a step daughter Kathy Ann (David) Heath, of New Cumberland, WVA; 9 grandchildren and 7 siblings Roger Landis (Shirley) Croft, of Altoona, Pa; Bryon (Jenny) Farber of Altoona, Pa; Charlie Shade, of Altoona, Pa; Lisa Mussleman, (fiancée Steve Four) of Clearville, Pa; Robert Gallagher, of Altoona, Pa; Elmer (wife Paula) Sprow, of Niceville, FL; and Hazel (husband Jim) Beste, of Lima, OH.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2019 with Pastor Gary Dull officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family at Alto Reste Park Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Monday, July 22, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Jones Funeral Home to help with expenses.
