Debra Drexler

Mrs. Debra Kay Drexler, 60 of Altoona, Pa, died Monday August 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM at her residence.

Mrs. Drexler was born in Altoona, Pa on April 9, 1957, daughter of the late Howard Byron and Audrey Jane (Claar) Schoening. She married Carl W. Drexler Jr. August 10, 2007 in Hollidaysburg, Pa. He died December 20, 2015.

She had been employed as a Personnel Manager at Skills, Inc. Altoona, Pa with 16 years of service. She previously was a Dental Assistant.

Debra was of the Protestant Faith.

Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her dog Luca, She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed gardening and Giraffe "April".

She is survived by a son Andrew John (Stephanie) Hite of Altoona; a sister Jane Marie Smith of Altoona, and a brother  Howard Byron (Lisa) Schoening of Hollidaysburg. Debra is also survived by two granddaughters, Makayla (River) Saunders and Makale Hite; two step-grandchildren Alissa Hamiton and Adam Hamilton; and three great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Sheldon Schoening.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 with Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating.

Mausoleum encryptment will be at Alto Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona.

Friends will be received Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home.
