Donald K Trickey

Donald K. Trickey, age 71, of Altoona, died Friday afternoon 03/04/2022 at UPMC Altoona.  He was born in Altoona 09/24/1950 a son of the late Pauline “Pat” (Guida) McClellan of Altoona.  Surviving are his loving wife Sherry L. (Hamer) Trickey of 42 years, a son, Donald K. Trickey II (Amanda) and Rylen of Georgia; sisters:  Darlene Ashford (Larry) and family; Ronnie (Allie), Kaylie and Landon, Robbie, Danielle of Texas; and half sister, Patty Georgianna and family of Altoona; several grandchildren; in-laws:  Karla Harkins (Tom) and family, JT (Liz), Kayla, Josh (Kristen), Theo and Isaac of Altoona; Larry Hamer Jr. and family, Larry III, Dalton, and a special friend, Susie and her family of Altoona; nephews:  Paul Smith and family of Altoona and Joey Smith and family of Altoona;  niece, Crystal (Smith) Gildea and family of Altoona;  very special friends:  Terry and Sandy Kruise, Tom and Phyllis Johnson, Tim Adams and Fran Carraciolo, Randy and Wanda McClellan.  Don was preceded in death by a sister, Sandi Smith of Altoona, and a half brother, William “Billy” McClellan of Florida and great niece, Cecili (Wells) Young of Texas. He had previously worked in the automobile industry.   Don was a member of UVHA Bellwood, Swiss Rifle Club of Altoona and the Unter Uns of Altoona.  He enjoyed spending time with his loving wife, family and friends, his grandson Rylen, working in the yard and around the house, traveling and sipping his favorite Jim Beam and Coke.  Don was also a avid computer nerd.  At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service.  A celebration of life will be held at Brush Mountain Sportsman Club, 100 Brush Mountain Road, Altoona, PA. 16601 on Saturday March 12th at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations to assist with the sudden expenses are appreciated.  You may send donations via Cash App to $trickey79, PayPal to @trickey2 or by mail to P.O.
