Gary Quirin Sr.

Mr. Gary P. Quirin Sr. 83, of Saxton, Pa died at 7:26 AM, Sunday, August 15, 2021 at UPMC – Altoona, Altoona, after a brief illness.

Mr. Quirin Sr. was born in Altoona, Pa on March 22, 1938, son of the late Joseph E. and Gertrude R. (Fields) Quirin.

He was an antique dealer and collector for many years.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Dudley, Pa.

Gary was a graduate of Altoona High School. He was a member of the National Watch and Clock Association and had a passion for collecting antique clocks and watches.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Gary is survived by his Significant Other Nancy L. Duvall of Saxton, Pa; 2 children Gary P. Quirin Jr. and Krista L. Quirin both of Altoona; a sister Nancy Ardry, of Altoona, Pa; and brother Terrance M. Quirin, of Villanova, Pa. Gary is survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons Kevin and Jeffery E. Quirin.

A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will be held at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 with Msgr Stanley B. Carson celebrant.

Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

Friends will be received Thursday August 19, 2021 from 3-5 PM at Jones Funeral Home.
