Georgianna Rieg

Georgianna R. Rieg, 81, of Altoona, Pa, died at 8:05 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at UPMC - Altoona after courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs, Rieg was born in Burnside, Pa on April 12, 1935, daughter of the late Norman and Zada (Long) Hollen. She married Robert W. Rieg Ausgust 31, 1957 in Altoona. He died October 2, 1984.

She retired in 1997 as a Nursery Attendant at Boby Magic of Altoona, Pa with 16 years of service.

Georgianna was a graduate of Harmony High School, Westover, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and gardining.

She is survived by 6 children Melinda J. (Andrew) Frederick, of Altoona, Pa; Juilianna K. ( Tim Marlett) Megahan, of Altoona,Pa; Robert W. (Maria) Rieg ll, of Philadelphia, Pa ; Vernetta M. Rieg of Altoona, Pa ; Cecilia L. (Michael) Nazaruk, of Alttona, Pa ; and Jason M. ; (Danielle) Rieg, of Clymer, Pa ; 4 sisters Patricia Walls, of Lakemont, Altoona, Pa. St Charlotte Brink, of Glen Campbell, Pa ; Catherine McGarvey, of Burnside, Pa and Doris Kulish, of St. Auguatine, FL Sheis also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Georgianna was preceded in death by 5 silblings William, Marge, Shirley, Mary Edna and LornaBelle.

Funeral Services are [rivate at the convenience of family.

Interment at Calvary Cemetery Altoona, Pa.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.
