Gordon Hampton Ll

Gordon Scott Hampton II, 20, of Altoona, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020. He was born in Altoona, son of Gordon Scott I and the late Debbie (Lear) Hampton.

He was Christian.

Gordon attended Altoona Area High School. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was a free thinker, someone who always looked into the sky, who found inspiration in music. He was mindful of others, a polite, kind young man with a heart like his mother’s. He cared about others and you could always count on him to listen. He was a father, an uncle, he was loved.

Gordon is survived by his father, Gordon Scott Hampton I of Fishertown; three sisters: Kathy (David) Heath of New Cumberland W.Va., Juliet R. Hampton and Lorena J. (fiance, Jason Runk) Hampton, both of Altoona. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Gordon was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie (Lear) Hampton.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, Altoona.
