James Reimer

Mr. James C. “Jim” Reimer, 84, of Altoona, Pa died at 6:10 PM, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Maybrook Hill Rehabilitation and Health Center, after an extended illness.

Mr. Reimer was born in Reading, Pa on August 16, 1936, son of the late Carl and Miriam (Miller) Reimer. He married Jacqueline B. Boyer in Reading, Pa. She preceded him in death February 6, 2017.

He retired as Districk Coal Agent at Conrail with 30 years of service.

Jim was of the Lutheran Faith.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School, Reading , Pa. He enjoyed spending every moment with his beloved wife, Jackie while she was alive, watching NASCAR and Netflix.

Jim served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by 2 sons Jim Reimer, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa; and David “ Wally” Reimer, of Altoona, Pa; a sister Mary Lou Ruffley of Reading, Pa. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

At Jims request there will be no public visitation or services.

Interment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery Altoona, Pa.
