Jason Smearman

Jason W. Smearman, 39, of St. Augustine, FL formerly of Ashville, Pa. died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his residence, unexpectedly.

Mr. Smearman was born in Altoona, Pa. on April 10, 1975, son of the late William R. Smearman and Jane E. (Thomas) Smith.

He was a financier at Merrill Lynch, St. Augustine, FL with 15 years of service.

Jason was a 1993 graduate of Pennfield High School. He enjoyed yachting and his dogs.

He is survived by his mother and 4 siblings, Jeremy M. Smearman, of USAF, Germany, Alicia M. Smith and Sarah E. Smith both of Altoona, Pa. and Stephani Smithbower, of Hollidaysburg, Pa.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.

Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, Pa.
