Margaret Lumadue

Mrs. Margaret M. “Maggie” Lumadue, 81, of Altoona, Pa died Monday, June 15, 2020 at her residence, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Lumadue was born in Coalport, Pa on October 17. 1938, daughter of the late Edmund P. and Ann (Gregg) Greinader. She married Fred T. Lumadue February 23, 1963 at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, Pa. He preceded her in death January 23, 2020.

She was a Registered Nurse and homemaker.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Altoona, Pa.

Maggie was a 1956 graduate of BCI High School in Coalport and a graduate of Misericordia Hospital Nursing School in Philadelphia. Maggie was a past member of the Catholic Nurses Association. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and her caregivers.

She is survived by 2 children Michael T. Lumadue of Altoona, Pa and Jane M. Reinard of Kintnersville, Pa. Maggie is also survived by 2 grandsons Stephen and Blake Reinard. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings John Greinader, Edmund Greinader II and Eulalia Gloeckler.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, with Msgr. Stanley B. Carson officiating.

Committal Rites will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Friends will be received Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home where a Vigil for the Deceased will be celebrated during the visitation.
