Nancy M. Ardry

Nancy M. Ardry, 83, Altoona, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022 at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Delaware, after an extended illness. Born March 8, 1939, Altoona, daughter of the late Gertude and Joseph Quirin. Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, James and John Quirin; and sisters, Barabara Denniston and Carol Gingrich. She married Clair Ardry in 1980 and was widowed in 2009. Survived by her children, Ronald Glunt and wife, Mary of Temucula, California; Robin Glunt (Jim Vereneault) of Lewes, Delaware; and Robert Glunt and wife, Michelle of Hershey; and brother, Terence Quirin and wife, Constance of Villanova. She leaves behind 7 beautiful grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She worked for many years at Olivo’s Restaurant and retired from King’s Family Restaurant on 6th Ave after 30 years. Nancy was a loving, hardworking mother who is dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 11:30 a.m., Jones Funeral Home, 1222 13th Ave., Altoona, Pastor Ralph Hamer officiant. A celebration of her life will be held afterwards at Lakemont Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, An Anderson Family Firm, Altoona.
