Regina May Osmolinski, 72, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late John Walter and Cecelia P. (Descoyski) Karcz. She was previously married to Ralph J. Osmolinski Sr.
Surviving are five children: Ralph James (Elena) Osmolinski, of Wyalusing, Scott T. Osmolinski, of Altoona, Lori Lee Osmolinski of Hollidaysburg, Amy Marie Osmolinski of Tyrone and Brian Jon (Brenna) Osmolinski of Willow Street; three grandchildren: Marcus, Aidric and Karina; and five siblings: Joan Meier and Barbara Lauer, both of Altoona, Cecelia Bradshaw of Sumter, S.C., Patricia McDonald of Pittsburgh and James Karcz of Roaring Spring.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff A. Osmolinski; and two siblings.
Regina retired as a licensed practical nurse at Home Nursing Agency in 2014 after 30 years of service. She previously had worked at Altoona Rehabilitation Center for seven years.
Regina was a member of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona and a member of Keystone Regiment Marching Band and Mainline Drum & Bugle Corps. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed her family, working puzzles and home improvements.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Jones Funeral Home, where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held during the visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona, with Monsignor Robert C. Mazur officiating. Committal Rites will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
