Robert Watkins

Mr. Robert Watkins, age 65, of 2928 Maple Ave. Altoona, Pa, died at 10:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at his residence, unexpectedly following an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Watkins was born in Frederick, MD on June 6, 1953 son of Dorothy (Gartrell) Watkins and the late Robert Herman Watkins. He married Paulette M. Anastasia June 17, 2000 in Thurmont, MD.

He retired in 2014 as an assistant manager at Home Depot Altoona with 10 years of service.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

Robert was a 1971 graduate of Linganore High School in Mount Airy, Maryland. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid coin collector.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother a daughter Jessica Friedman, of Freedon, Pa; 3 step son Richard C. Stephenson, Travis E. Stephenson and Jeremy Stephenson, all of Largo, FL; grandson Ryan Stephenson, of Largo, FL; 2 brothers Charles Watkins of Elkridge, Maryland and Theodore Watkins, of Derry Pennsylvania; and a sister Janet Haines Watkins, of Damascus, MD.

There will be no public service.

There will be no public visitation.
