Theresa Chamberlin

Mrs. Theresa Ann “Terri” Chamberlin, 81, of Altoona, Pa, died at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Chamberlin was born in Stoneham, MA on September 22, 1937, daughter of the late Saverio and Mary Venera (Carpenter) Sestilli.

She retired as a Secretary at Blair Senior Service Altoona with 2 years of service. She previously retired as a Legal Secretary from Hartye & Schmidt, Attorneys At Law.

She attended Assembly of God Church Altoona, Pa.

Terri was a 1955 graduate of Wilby High School, Waterbury, CT. and a 1982 graduate of Faith School of Theology, Charleston, Maine. Terri enjoyed art, traveling, supporting our military and church related events.

She married Ira Leigh Chamberlin who preceded her in death. She was previously married to Robert A. Coer Sr. who is surviving.

She is survived by 3 children Robert A. Coer Jr. of Checotah, OK; Annette M. Blanco, of Kalona, Iowa; and Kathleen M. Gassler, of East Freedom, Pa; a bother John M. Sestilli, of Terryville, CT; and a sister Margaret Niewiorwicz, of Waterbury, CT and her companion Joseph Lipple. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Benjamin, James, Aaron and Philip Shaughnessy, A. Tyler Mueller, Tina K. Hedgepeth and Konstance Mullikin and 11 great grandchildren.

At Theresa Chamberlin’s request there will be no visitation or services.
