Timothy Nagle

Timothy Brian “Tim” Nagle, 56 of Royersford, PA, formerly of Altoona, died Saturday June 24, 2017 at his residence following an eleven month battle with cancer.

He was born November 2, 1960 in Altoona a son of the late Robert John Nagle and Catherine Mary (Miller) Nagle. He married Pamela Jean Britton on August 18, 2001 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Pam; his mother, Catherine; his best friend “King Louie”; a niece, Jennifer L. Nagle and his mother-in-law, Ellen Britton.

He was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona.

Tim was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School; a graduate of Penn State University and received his Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Pittsburgh.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as an IT Specialist.

Tim worked at The Vanguard Group, Inc. for 19 years as a Senior Information Technology Developer.

He enjoyed basketball, tennis, racquetball, bowling, fly-fishing, shooting skeet, snow skiing, and bicycling. He also volunteered at The Vanguard Group, Inc., Day of Care and Toys-For-Tots.

Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday June 29, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home, 1222 13th Avenue, Altoona where a vigil service for the deceased will be held during the viewing.  A funeral mass will be held Friday June 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament with Monsignor Robert C. Mazur officiating. Committal rites will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
